Do I have to commit to any contracts or timeframes for membership?
Not at all! As much as we'd LOVE everyone to hang with us in our village indefinitely, we also understand the spiritual journey can see us explore all sorts of pathways to deeper healing and evolution of Self.
We don't lock you in to our community! Because you should always be able to exercise YOUR power to CHOOSE! In fact, we encourage you to soar on your growth trajectory!
And if that means you're only with us for a month, or a year...so be it. We would advise though, it can take up to 90 days plus to change your habits (programmed beliefs!), so for optimum benefit we recommend 3 months minimum.
What do you mean by this being a "trauma informed" community?
Unfortunately we've seen a lot of stuff go down in coaching communities (and even mainstream medical approaches to mental health) that frankly, boggle our minds...in the name of "trauma informed practice"!
Trauma is THE most misunderstood and underestimated catalyst/cause of much dis-ease in our modern world. But is barely touched on in most well regarded medical school curriculums.
Far too often, those claiming to have the "cure" for what ails you, have not yet explored their own shadows to any real depth. Ego gets in the way...and there's a lot of unhealthy ego running rampant right now (because of fear).
We are always doing our own work here at STARR...you could say we "run a tight STARRship..." (haha!). Because we know you should never underestimate something as complex as trauma, and the stories formed around it...multi-generationally.
We also know the best "weapon" in trauma resolution is easily accessible to everyone. It's just we've been trained to look for answers outside of ourselves. When it's all within! So when we talk about trauma, it's with the clear objective of tapping you into the power and wisdom you already possess, and holding space as you practice wielding your magic and healing your body, mind and soul.
All STARR Practitioners are highly trained to hold a safe, trauma informed space.
Is the community managed in a way to ensure there's no nastiness or bad behaviour?
Bron Lea has facilitated a number of online Facebook communities, one with over 2.5k members, for the past 6 years. In all of that time, she's only ever had to rein in maybe a dozen members for behaviour deemed to break the code of the space.
We don't do "rules" as such in SHASAM...rather we hold the space of our village in such a way energetically, that it does not invite anything other than co-creation, community, connection, love, support, acceptance and nurturing vibes. Period. No room for judgment of any kind.
In fact...this is how we teach you to create and maintain unbreakable boundaries in STARR. And it works a treat! So you can rest assured this is a safe space for you to immerse yourself in...and be vulnerable. Cause you have to feel it to heal it. And that takes some vulnerability.
Can I change my membership and upgrade or downgrade my subscription?
Absolutely! You're always in control of how you choose to partake and play in our village! You decide when you come and go, and how much engagement you'd like along the way.
You can level up when you decide you want to immerse yourself more in your spiritual work. And if you feel you need to lighten your load at any stage - maybe you decide to do another course or program and don't want to overwhelm yourself with commitments - you can ease on down into the Jasper membership for just $11/month and still enjoy the SHASAM Village vibe! Why don't you offer a free trial before I commit to joining?
Simple...because you need to commit to something of this nature for more than fourteen days, if you intend to authentically walk your soul-led path. We want people in SHASAM who are ready to commit to rapid and radical transformation. Again - it's about the energy of our sacred space!
We don't want to dilute your experience with wishy washy, half in..."I'm kinda exploring my spiritual side on a Saturday as a hobby"...type energy.
